📌 Overview
This trade was based on bearish continuation after price reacted from a higher timeframe FVG and confirmed weakness on the lower timeframe.
The setup followed a simple process:
M15 FVG → M5 IFVG → Bearish Displacement → Continuation
🧭 Market Context
Before the entry:
- Price retraced into a premium M15 FVG zone.
- Sellers responded aggressively from the area.
- Strong bearish displacement confirmed downside intent.
- Market failed to reclaim recent highs.
This created a bearish bias for the NY session.
🎯 Trade Execution
Entry was taken after:
✅ M15 FVG reaction
✅ M5 IFVG confirmation
✅ Bearish displacement
✅ Break of short-term structure (BOS)
The IFVG acted as confirmation that buyers were losing control and sellers were regaining momentum.
🚀 Trade Outcome
Price continued lower as expected and:
- Respected the bearish IFVG structure
- Maintained lower highs and lower lows
- Expanded aggressively toward sell-side liquidity
- Delivered a clean continuation move
🧠 Key Takeaway
A higher timeframe FVG becomes more powerful when supported by lower timeframe confirmation.
Rather than selling immediately into the FVG, waiting for:
Reaction → IFVG → Displacement → BOS
can provide higher probability entries and better risk management.
